My answer is limited to Indiana law. A "lease-option" is nothing more than a lease agreement and a separate option agreement. You'll find two separate forms to use. The forms you need are pretty common.

If this is an Ohio transaction, I'll have to refer you to Ohio counsel.

Just did a google search for lease options in Indiana. I am an Indiana Realtor, usually working in Ohio though. I have a listing contract & represent a seller with 10 acres of land(only improvement is new septic system-she decided not to build). Someone called and wants to lease option or option to purchase this land. He built a new home last year & doesn't have financial resources until he sells his house. What is best way to handle this transaction as Limited Agent for seller and buyer in Indiana. I have Zip FOrm and found Option to purchase property but no forms for Lease option. Please advise me.
Good Morning! I met you at the Cooperative Training Conference held @ Indiana Farm Bureau building on February 25, 2010. You gave a "GREAT" Presentation. You are so on your game! Thank you!
